Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - 16417. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program
The selected candidate will be responsible for software architecture duties within the Digital Thread team on the Sentinel program. As a senior contributor and technical leader, the candidate will work with senior leaders and engineering staff to deliver the Digital Thread products and capabilities to the customer and engineering teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 12 Years with Bachelor's in relevant field of study, 10 Years with Masters, 08 Years with PhD or 04 additional years in lieu of a degree.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
- US Citizenship with Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
- Experience developing and integrating full-stack and/or web-based applications
- Experience developing software architectures using UML
- Experience developing and supporting software across the software development lifecycle
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering methods and tools
- Experience with the systems lifecycle from initial requirements through operations and sustainment for complex systems
- Experience with digital engineering concepts, methods, processes, and tooling
- Experience with verification and test development and execution
- Experience with software deployment utilizing DevOps principles & tools (e.g., Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment pipelines)
- Experience with developing software to be deployed across multiple air-gapped environments / sets of infrastructure
Primary Level Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
