UNC Health is seeking a full-time surgical oncologist to join our busy practice based in Wake County. The ideal candidate will provide high-volume, high-quality, comprehensive care to our oncology patients in a community setting while having the opportunity to engage in academic activities if desired.

Our Surgical Oncologists are part of a collaborative relationship with the UNC School of Medicine's Department of Surgery. We work closely with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, contributing to clinical and translational research.

The successful candidate must be fellowship-trained and/or Board Certified or Board Eligible in Complex General Surgical Oncology. The role involves participating in multidisciplinary care, tumor boards, and supporting oncology programs at UNC Health. A strong commitment to providing top-tier clinical care for UNC Health's patients is essential.

While the primary focus is on clinical duties, there are opportunities for academic involvement at the UNC School of Medicine and NC Cancer Hospital for those interested. We seek a professional, team-oriented individual who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across North Carolina.
