Position: Product Manager III

Location: Atlanta, GA

Onsite Requirement: Hybrid

6 Month initial contract, potential to extend


Job Description:

The main function of a product manager is to oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, focusing on defining product strategy, understanding customer needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful software products.


The Daily – Major Activities:

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines key features and timelines.
  • Prioritize features and initiatives based on value and impact.
  • Translate customer needs and requirements into detailed product specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure requirements are clear and achievable.
  • Effectively communicate product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders.
  • Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing.
  • Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures.
  • Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors.
  • Develop, track and manage project plans, timelines and scope.

The Essentials:

  • Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification.
  • Proven project management experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • People management and team building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
  • 5-10 years of experience
