Job Description
Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $16.66
The current full hourly range for this position is $16.66 -$19.80
Join the Youth Engagement team in our Parks and Recreation department! We are a fast-growing, dynamic group dedicated to putting the youth of our community at the heart of recreational programming. Our team collaborates to create engaging activities tailored to the diverse neighborhoods surrounding Parks Tacoma’s four community centers.
Every day is an adventure when working with youth! You’ll play basketball, wall ball, video games, air hockey—and sometimes even help students with their studies. You'll also provide light snacks to promote healthy eating while building meaningful connections that last a lifetime.
This is an in-person position that requires reliability, enthusiasm, and a passion for engaging with youth. You'll receive hands-on training from experienced team members and have access to all the resources needed to thrive in this exciting field of youth programming.
