Summary:
The Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. The RN will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.


Additional Information: This is a temporary position designed to support our hospital during peak seasonal periods. As such, the Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) is expected to commit to the full duration of the seasonal contract. Additionally, candidates must be willing to work a specified number of holiday shifts, including but not limited to Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day. This requirement ensures that we can continue to provide exceptional patient care during times of increased demand.


Responsibilities:

· Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.

· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

· Monitor and record patients' vital signs and medical information.

· Provide education and support to patients and their families.

· Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

· Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in nursing. 


    Other information:
    · Current and valid RN license in [NC] or multi-state compact license.

    · Minimum of [2] years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.

    · BLS required (AHA or ARC only); ACLS preferred.

    · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.

    · Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
