Job Summary
The Department of Psychiatry is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a position as a Clinical Training and Implementation Specialist, Senior with the PRISM team. The PRISM team supports the implementation of integrated behavioral health care, the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) and Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH), in primary and specialty care clinics throughout Michigan.
Responsibilities*
The Clinical Training and Implementation Specialist Senior will provide both large group trainings and individualized training and coaching surrounding integrated behavioral health. This individual will be responsible for assessing the skills and training needs of the primary care clinics' designated behavioral health care team, including development of individualized training plans. This team member will also assist with curriculum development for primary/specialty care providers, and clinic staff.
As part of the PRISM team, the candidate will also be responsible for assessing and suggesting modifications to clinic operations to support integrated behavioral health care. This will include participation in site visits, completion of practice assessments, and assisting in the analysis and restructuring of clinical workflows. Responsibilities will also include assisting in organizing and leading training activities, ongoing site coordination, facilitating conference calls and meetings, data collection, and report writing.
Required Qualifications*
- Master's in Social Work, Psychology, or other similar clinical degree required.
- Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- At least 3 years of training experience must be reflected on resume.
- Organized and possess strong attention to detail.
- Capable of both working on a team and functioning independently.
- Flexible and able to constantly adapt to changing workflow
- Proficiency in computer programs including word processing, presentation development, and spreadsheets is necessary.
- Experience in providing training to large groups and in one-on-one or small group mentoring.
Training Specialist Senior
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
Training Specialist Intermediate
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience.
Desired Qualifications*
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team in an integrated health setting.
- Experience with curriculum and material design.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
- Experience with Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation, and Problem-Solving Therapy.
Work Schedule
Primarily days: some weekends or evenings required.
Work Locations
This is a primarily remote position. However, occasional travel within the region may be required.
Modes of Work
Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.
