UX/Visual Designer

Aquent Talent is seeking a talented UX/Visual Designer to join a leading global organization revolutionizing its internal HR systems. As a key member of the HR Engineering team, you’ll be instrumental in crafting user-centered designs that simplify and enhance the employee experience across a suite of internal products. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating compelling design concepts (mock-ups, prototypes, models) that effectively communicate your design vision.
  • Iterating rapidly on designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input.
  • Collaborating with engineers to ensure designs are implemented to spec, finding creative solutions when technical challenges arise.
  • Partnering with user research and product management teams to understand user needs and translate them into elegant, effective design solutions.
  • Contributing to the overall design system and ensuring consistency across the platform.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a UX Designer.
  • A strong understanding of user-centered and interaction design principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency with UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Framer).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience designing for enterprise products, particularly in the HR space.
  • Ability to navigate a highly technical environment and understand technical constraints.
  • Strong hybrid design skills encompassing interaction, visual, prototyping, and motion design.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $37.22 to $41.36 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
