Job Description

Volunteer Opportunity – Visitor and Member Services Greeter

Visitor and Member Services volunteers enhance the Museum visitors’ experiences by extending a cordial welcome, providing appropriate directions, and presenting accurate and consistent information about the Museum's exhibitions, activities, and services. Visitor and Member Services volunteers greet patrons at the Museum’s entrances.

We are currently seeking weekly door-greeting coverage for the following volunteer shifts:

Fridays:
• 10 AM -12 PM
Saturdays:
• 10 AM - 12 PM
• 2 PM - 4 PM
Sundays:
• 10 AM - 12 PM
• 12 PM - 2 PM
• 2 PM - 4 PM
Volunteers will be expected to assist with at least one longer shift during the Museum’s annual Art in Bloom event, usually held the first weekend in March.
Selected Greeters will be required to attend a one-day group training session.
