Skills and Competencies

  • 7-10 years of project management experience, with demonstrated success managing large-scale initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate competing priorities among stakeholders.
  • Assertive and confident, with the ability to be a voice of authority and drive planning, issue resolution, and decision-making that is best for the business.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (for detailed financial analysis), PowerPoint (for executive-level presentations), and various project management tools.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with quick turnaround times and deadlines.
  • Ability to synthesize abstract ideas into concrete implications and create concise, high-quality presentations for senior management with minimal guidance.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities
Execute merger & acquisition integration projects to ensure alignment with business lines, improve new employee onboarding, and enhance transparency across all workstreams.

  • Develop and oversee sequencing plans for large-scale projects, ensuring functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) deliver on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Act as the key liaison between lines of business and shared services, making decisions on behalf of the business to minimize management distraction.
  • Drive issue resolution, risk identification, and mitigation; maintain and prioritize a list of issues and proactively ensure their resolution.
  • Establish and coordinate program-wide meeting cadences, lead meetings, and document and follow up on next steps and action items.
  • Create project reporting (status updates, reviews) and deliver presentations to executive and board-level audiences to track integration progress.
  • Establish baseline best practices, reporting dashboards, and framework templates to expand and mature integration capabilities for the organization.
  • Focus on change management to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for newly acquired employees, keeping them informed on integration phases and process changes.
  • Work with the finance team to track actual integration spend vs. budget and perform detailed financial analysis.

Our Integration Management Office team is responsible for successfully executing merger & acquisition integration projects. We contribute by ensuring continuous alignment with the lines of business, improving the onboarding experience for newly acquired employees, and enhancing transparency and accountability across all integration workstreams. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$143,800.00-$208,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
