Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding and experience of Microsoft Core Infrastructure, Windows/Mac security, Windows/Mac operating systems, cloud-based VDI platforms, networking technologies, and modern device management platforms.
  • Broad experience in managing digital workplace technologies for large, complex organizations.
  • Proven experience in managing and understanding complex issues and their interrelationships by having strong creative thinking capabilities to create new solutions and concepts.
  • Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and other senior leaders within the firm.
  • Proven experience in leading and building diverse teams to solve complex business problems
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written and collaborative).

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant area of study with a minimum of 8 years' experience in IT industry in a relevant area.

Responsibilities

This is an important leadership position within the Digital Workplace Services organization overseeing Moody's virtual and physical endpoint capabilities and the tools and processes that collectively enable our colleagues to be successful. This leader will leverage technical and business acumen to successfully balance the delivery of new products and capabilities with strong operational discipline in areas such as lifecycle, vulnerability, incident, and problem management.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and strategy of the Endpoint Engineering team with a continuous focus on best-in-class user experience, service, and delivery.
  • Define, implement, manage, and continuously improve digital workplace technologies.
  • Management of a geographically diverse team to ensure operational excellence in areas including ITIL functions, lifecycle management, and vulnerability management.
  • Provide leadership that focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining high caliber talent.
  • Manage and govern associated vendors and service providers.
  • Establish digital workplace technology roadmaps, engineering standards, and operating standards.
  • Identify, monitor, publish, and manage goals and measurements to show improvements to digital workplace technology.
  • Advocate for secure computing practices and procedures.
  • Ensure documentation and training is in place for operations teams.
  • Champion advanced analytics and automation to streamline efficiencies.
  • Work closely with operations, governance, and enablement partners to drive coordination and collaboration across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with security, identity, and networking leaders to ensure a secure seamless delivery of digital workplace technologies.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace that values diversity and promotes belonging and wellbeing.

About the team

The Endpoint Engineering team is comprised of 12-15 systems engineers responsible for the technologies and platforms that deliver the endpoint experience through hardware, software, and supporting systems. The team is focused on project delivery and continuous service improvement activities for existing services while partnering closely with operations and support teams to ensure that Endpoint services are delivered with high quality.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$149,600.00-$216,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
