Job Description:

Join Fidelity Labs, our in-house new business incubator, as the Head of Product & Strategy for an early-stage AI venture. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, roadmap and execution for our AI platform. You will collaborate closely with other technical and product teams within Labs to capture user feedback and rapidly iterate on our product offering, ensuring alignment with client needs and market demands.

The Role

As the Head of Product & Strategy, you will lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, with a particular focus on strategic planning and client engagement. A deep knowledge of the AI landscape is crucial for helping to segment our prospective customers and develop a progressive rollout strategy that meets client expectations and drives business growth.

• Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

• Lead a rapid and iterative product development process, working closely with engineering, design, and user research.

• Be recognized as the organizational expert on the technical and market trends within the AI industry, translating these insights into strategic opportunities.

• Monitor and analyze key product metrics to ensure success and identify areas for improvement, focusing on enhancing client experiences.

• Work with other AI teams within Fidelity to align technical strategy and consolidate user feedback.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Extensive experience in product management, including experience owning strategic and product vision across significant product surface area.

• Experience with AI software and fintech or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.

• Outstanding product management skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver software products with complex stakeholders.

• Passion for product discovery, with a focus on conducting customer interviews and developing and iterating on detailed personas to inform product strategy and design.

• Critical thinking skills and initiative. Comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy designing a strategic plan of action.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with peers and higher levels of management.

• Ability to work cross-functionally with teams within Labs and the broader Fidelity organization.
