Web Developer / Marketing Specialist

Job Description

Our client, a San Antonio-based safety consulting and risk management firm is looking for a Web Developer / Marketing Specialist with hands-on development skills (HTML, CSS, and WordPress), as well as experience across SEO and paid media.


This onsite position starts as soon as the ideal candidate has been identified, and will continue (40 hours per week) with the intention to convert to a full-time, salaried position with comprehensive benefits. 


Web Developer / Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Manage company website, making updates, modifications, and creating new pages using HTML, CSS, WordPress, etc. 
  • Manage and execute sitewide SEO including local and global keyword research, landing page optimization, and link-building strategies.
  • Monitor site analytics on an ongoing basis to ensure channels are achieving targets using Google Analytics HubSpot or similar analytic tools
  • Contribute input and familiarity with running key paid channel execution (Google Ads and social ads)

    Web Developer / Marketing Specialist Requirements:

    • Experience creating, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress-based websites
    • Experience tracking and reporting analytics using Google Analytics, HubSpot, or comparable analytics tools
    • SEO insight and experience making recommendations and upholding best practices 
    • B2B and / or tech industry experience is a plus
    • Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience)

    In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
