Position Summary:
The Welcoming Schools Manager will provide leadership and end-to-end management of the Seal of Excellence (SOE) program, provide schools with timely technical assistance based on policy and practice information submitted via survey, lead on distribution of school climate assessments and data analysis, engage with schools to secure fee-for-service trainings, manage quarterly webinars for our ambassadors and manage the e-learning component for Welcoming Schools.
Position Responsibilities:
Seal of Excellence
- Lead project management for Seal of Excellence program, including participant outreach, onboarding, technical assistance, survey validation and data analysis.
- Lead Welcoming Schools team’s data build in Salesforce, including implementation of Salesforce Experience Cloud in collaboration with Research & Education team, to manage and grow the Seal of Excellence program
- Maintain the SOE survey tool for collecting policy and practice information from SOE schools, including routine survey updates and troubleshooting
- Maintain a clear process for tracking each school site with progression, goals and unique site outcomes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for each school’s leadership team, providing onboarding sessions and individual and group-based technical assistance to complete the Seal of Excellence
- Communicate effectively with school leads to ensure they understand the process of receiving the Seal of Excellence and are supported in achieving the benchmarks
- Create and lead quarterly informational sessions for SOE schools
- Plan and execute successful Seal of Excellence ceremonies
- Track and monitor schools for SOE renewal benchmarks
- Contribute narrative content and data for Welcoming Schools Annual Report
E-learning
- Monitor and track e-learning traffic for Welcoming Schools domain on HRC LEARN: learn.hrc.org/welcomingschools
- Coordinate with e-learning team to develop new asynchronous learning content in Articulate Rise
- Coordinate with e-learning team to upload and distribute new content into the LMS
- Serve as lead admin for HRC LEARN (Docebo) LMS for all Welcoming Schools e-learning efforts
Training Program
- Pull training evaluations from Survey Monkey and maintain a system of tracking and distributing surveys.
- Manage the distribution of climate assessments to schools
- Point of contact for responding to training requests
- Provide technical assistance to districts as the first point of contact for training-related questions and needs
Ambassador Program
- Coordinate quarterly webinars for ambassadors
- Maintain a database of ambassadors in Salesforce
Position Qualifications: [refer to Level Criteria]
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce, Qualtrics, and Survey Monkey
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and eLearning authoring tools required, specific experience with Docebo Learn LMS.
- A proven track record of communicating with organization leaders (directors, training leads, etc.) and stakeholders with professionalism and in alignment with employer values and voice
- High aptitude for database application and experience with project management tools – specifically Monday.com
- Demonstrated success in organizing and managing multi-faceted project
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong commitment to and interest in the rapidly changing LGBTQ+ equality movement and a strong working knowledge of LGBTQ+ issues
