Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Kernel Developer to support a government client. This is a long-term opportunity with funding secured through the end of the year and a goal to extend through 2026.
Responsibilities:- Lead development of Windows-based tools, with a strong focus on kernel-level programming.
- Take full ownership of assigned tools—from initial concept discussions through Software Requirements Review (SRR), Architecture Review (AR), and final delivery.
- Perform reverse engineering tasks as needed.
- Develop new software and resolve bugs in existing systems.
- Collaborate closely with a technical team and participate in regular onsite meetings, especially during the initial ramp-up period.
- Proven experience in Windows Kernel development.
- Strong background in reverse engineering.
- Ability to lead tool development efforts independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Must hold an active TS clearance; SCI eligibility required (interim clearance not accepted).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Initial presence required in Arlington, VA (Ballston) for onboarding and team integration. Afterward, work location is flexible between Ballston and Herndon, VA.
Work Schedule: Onsite 5 days/week or 4x10s
