About Union Pacific Railroad
America’s railroad was built by diverse hands – from Chinese track gangs to Irish immigrants and Civil War veterans (both Black and White) as well as Pawnee scouts who protected the lines. It many cases it’s an investment in the very communities in which we operate, promoting job creation at a local level.
