DEI Executive Orders from March 26, 2026

The DEI Executive Order released on March 26, 2026, clarify what constitutes unlawful practices. The order defines “racially discriminatory DEI activities” as those involving disparate treatment based on race or ethnicity in recruitment and employment.

While the Executive Order prohibits racially discriminatory DEI practices, it does not render all DEI efforts unlawful. DEI initiatives are not illegal, and it would be inaccurate to categorize all DEI programming as non-compliant.
