Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a fellowship-trained Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join the dynamic team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Since opening our doors in 1972, we have been committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise.Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
- Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program required.
- Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Virginia prior to employment.
- Care Team model of 4 CV Anesthesiologists, 9 General Anesthesiologists, and 29 CRNA s.
- One location with 20 sites of service, including 3 dedicated cardiovascular OR s and a hybrid OR for I/R and structural heart cases.
- Cardiovascular cases include open heart (450-500 open hearts/year), TAVRs, WATCHMAN and MitraClips.
- General cases include Trauma (Level 1), Vascular, EP, Thoracic, OB, Orthopedics, Urology, General, GYN, and GI.
- 1:4 cardiac call rotation (13 weeks of call/year).

- Echocardiography
- Vascular Testing
