The Pilot Plant Process Specialist works with the Senior Process Leader and Bunge Creative Solutions Center team to provide pilot plant operations and results. Ensures that all job functions are performed safely and in accordance with Bunge policies and procedures. Under the direction of research and development teams, provides technical assistance in the operation of pilot plant equipment.
Main Accountabilities
Assists with maintaining the BCSC inventory, operation and maintenance of pilot plant equipment.
Provide technical assistance to research and development teams in the routine operation of equipment and projects.
May be assigned to specific projects or program initiatives working closely with research and development teams.
Maintain required ingredient inventories and records including reordering and receiving.
Responsible for record keeping of technical support provided and equipment maintenance.
Assists in the coordination for all BCSC building/grounds maintenance and services.
Performs other duties/projects based on evolving business needs and to enhance the overall success of the organization.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's in food/bakery science or mechanical certificate preferred
Minimum of one to two years of experience operating pilot plant equipment
General knowledge of processing equipment functions and dangers
Ability to safely work independently with general guidance
May have to lift 50 pounds
