A Day In The Life:
As a Cloud Engineer at Bunge, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud revolution. You'll craft innovative and high-impact solutions with global scope and turn them into reality. If you're not afraid to challenge the status quo and make your mark, this role is for you!

What You'll Be Doing:
* You'll brainstorm, design, and build new GCP-powered solutions that push the envelope for high-impact workload use cases across the company, from Supply Chain & Logistics to Plant Operations, from Commercial to Trading.
* You'll be brainstorming, designing, and implementing GCP-powered solutions that push the envelope for high-impact workload use cases across the company with a strategic 1-3 year vision, from Supply Chain & Logistics to Plant Operations, from Commercial to Trading.
* You will be at the forefront of implementing cloud within Bunge, across all of our geographies and functions, finding the optimal solutions for the specific use cases using or bringing new ideas to existing solutions. You will be recognized as an expert in your area.
* Join forces with our Software Development, Data Science and DevOps folks to understand their requirements and build automated solutions, such as CI/CD, data pipelines or deployment infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
* Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using Terraform to provision resources, manage configurations, and ensure consistency across the cloud use cases, from foundational provisioning of application infrastructure to desired state configuration to application installation.
* Lead efforts to architect and maintain Bunge Cloud Platform configurations (such as network and security configurations/constructs), ensuring secure integration with the company applications.
* Track costs, application infrastructure optimization, stewardship practices to ensure best use of Bunge consumption against public cloud.
* Build and implement platform monitoring to ensure high availability of the cloud platform.
* Implement data protection and identity access management policies to safeguard cloud resources and data.


Skill/Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, or combination of years of experience and education, in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* At least 2-4 years hands-on experience with major public cloud services, with preference to GCP services, including but not limited to Compute Engine, GKE, Big Query, Cloud Run and Cloud Composer. Bonus points, if you've obtained Google Cloud Professional certifications (like Architect, Data Engineer, or DevOps).
* Have built monitoring solutions with Google Cloud Monitoring or other tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, SolarWinds).
* You can communicate complex, technical concepts to technical resources in clear concise language.
* Demonstrable Terraform experience
* Have implemented Kubernetes and Docker (or similar container engine) solutions
* Have built large-scale monitoring solutions with Google Cloud Monitoring or other tools (e.g., Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, SolarWinds).
* Knowledge of Python and any other scripting language (e.g., Bash). If you have experience building Data Platform products and with big data technologies like Spark, it is a plus.
* You thrive in a dynamic, global, ever-changing atmosphere. You are adaptable, resilient, and ready to transform teams and processes.
* You can communicate complex, technical concepts to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear concise language.
