Summary:Supports the Bank's credit risk management function through the evaluation, monitoring, and analysis of member financial institutions (banks, credit unions and insurance companies) and counterparties. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements while protecting the Bank from potential credit losses.
Accountabilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support reviews of member credit profiles by analyzing financial statements, regulatory filings, performance trends, and key risk indicators to assess creditworthiness.
- Monitor and report on compliance with credit policies, procedures and regulations.
- Analyze financial performance and creditworthiness of member financial institutions.
- Monitor member trends, capital ratios, liquidity, and asset quality.
- Support regulatory reporting and examinations.
- Perform stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with multiple Bank business units.
- Serve as back-up for other Credit Analysts in ongoing production of key reports.
- Assist department staff in testing departmental processes and computer applications.
- Assist with review and completion of compliance reporting.
Requirements:
- Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics or related field.
- Knowledge of financial statements.
- Understanding of credit risk principles preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; report-writing skills preferred.
- Knowledge of financial models; statistical modeling skills preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated initiative, curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.
Compensation Range:
Hourly: $22.00 - $22.00This compensation range represents the Bank’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of hire. Offer to be determined by selected applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
