Job Description

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory develops advanced naval nuclear propulsion technology for the safety and reliability of our Navy's submarine and aircraft fleet. Our company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as part of the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer
(PPTT) project, which is a multi-site organization engaged in the design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators. The successful candidate will: - Have experience performing electrical drafting - Collaborate with engineers to create or modify designs and drawings for PPTT equipment - Review Supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience with drafting electrical system and component designs
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer

Proficiency performing electrical engineering drafting - Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques - Experience creating or reviewing electrical engineering designs based on approved technical requirements - Proficiency with engineering software including SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and/or AutoCAD - Proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers, low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications systems - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products

Engineer I: 3yrs
Engineer II: 5yrs
Engineer III: 10 yrs

Candidates must have a current L Clearance to start.
