Position Details
- Job Title: Direct Support Professional I & II
- Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr.
- Shifts: Full -Time AM Shifts 6AM to 2 PM (Sat - Wed)
- Location: Covina, CA 91724
- Work Setting: One Location (Not Remote)

What You'll Do As a Direct Support Professional I & II, you will assist adults with developmental disabilities in their daily lives, supporting independence, health, and personal growth.
Your responsibilities include:
- Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dietary, and dressing needs
- Supporting clients with bathroom needs
- Changing clothing/undergarments when necessary
- Preparing meals and completing cleanup
- Following daily routines outlined in the Individual Program Plan (IPP)
- Redirecting behaviors through activities like walking, reading, games, math, and computer tasks
- Providing safe transportation in company vans when required
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid
- Experience:
- 1 year of personal or professional experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (e.g., Autism) or mental health conditions (e.g., Bipolar) strongly preferred
- Driving Requirements:
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Must be 21+
- Current registration & insurance
- Driving record with no more than 2 points in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- PTO time
