The Employee Advocate is a role model and advocate for Wegmans values and ensures an environment of equal opportunity for all to succeed. In this role, you will be an objective adviser, facilitator, coach and consultant to management and employees, while ensuring HR programs and practices are executed successfully.
What will I do?
- Advocate for employees and ensure a safe, compliant, diverse, fair, harassment-free environment of equal opportunity for all to succeed
- Assist in employee development; provide resources, training, feedback and development opportunities
- Advise, coach and educate manager on all aspects of Human Resources practices including staffing, training, development, performance management and compliance
- Coordinate and educate employees about internal programs
- Partner with recruiters and hiring manager to forecast staffing needs
- Ensure compliance with all State and Federal laws and Wegmans' policies, procedures and practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of Human Resources experience
- Advanced Computer Skills
