Why This Role Rocks

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of 35-45 stores in Tennessee and Houston, Texas. They will be able to make decisions independently regarding their maintenance.

What's On Your Plate (Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for meeting with store management to discuss repair and maintenance and/or remodel projects, negotiating bids and executing necessary Cap X projects

  • Ability to lead and manage multiple construction crews and projects simultaneously

  • Conduct annual store inspections for 45 plus locations

  • Strong mechanical background and technical knowledge of building services

  • Must be proficient at negotiating, networking, conflict resolution, and using resourcing techniques

  • Serving attitude; willing to go above and beyond to make sure job is done right the first time

  • May encounter company trade secrets and confidential information

  • Manage annual Cap X planning budget and approvals

  • Assist in new store construction warranty issues

Your Recipe for Success (Requirements)

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Construction Project Management and estimating/Restaurant industry experience a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet's (preferred)

  • Ability to travel 75%

Physical Demands

  • Frequently moves, transport, and/or positions building, office, and/or kitchen equipment weighing between 10 pounds to 50 pounds from delivery truck to mobile cart and from mobile cart to various locations throughout Support Center

  • Frequently bending, twisting and climbing ladders to provide maintenance advice and assess and otherwise correct issues inside the building and on the roof

  • Frequently lifts supplies and parts necessary to maintain the facilities weighing up to 50 lbs.
