We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for locum tenens coverage in Southwestern New York, starting in March. The opportunity is 8-hour day shifts with excellent daily pay.

  • Position: Radiation Oncologist (Locum Tenens)
  • Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
  • Compensation: $2,400 per day (with some flexibility for the right candidate)
  • Start Date: March 2026

Job Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective radiation oncology treatments

Work alongside medical oncologists, surgeons, and support staff to coordinate care plans

Adjust treatment protocols as necessary based on patient progress

Maintain thorough documentation in EMR systems


Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

Active New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

Experience in hospital or cancer center settings preferred


Working Hours

8-hour day shifts, could negotiate schedule, based on volume


Skills

Expertise in radiation oncology techniques

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Commitment to delivering patient-centered care
