Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Candidates should be experienced in requirements decomposition, flow down and management, test planning, validation and verification planning, interface definition, and expertise with application of various engineering tools such as DOORS and Cameo.
• The role will include validating the customer level requirements and pulling from multiple inputs to develop the program level requirements.
• The role will include support for major program reviews such as SRR, PDR, CDR, and FAT/SAT
• The role may include providing technical briefings to customers and mission partners

Basic Qualifications:
• Principal Engineer Level (T3) - B.S. in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related area and 5 years of experience; M.S. in STEM or related area and 3 years of experience.
• Senior Principal Engineer Level (T4) - B.S. in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related area and 8 years of experience; M.S. in STEM or related area and 6 years of experience.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering for requirements and architecture management
• Experience in requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPs.
• Experience in system test planning/verification.
• Must have US Citizenship with current or active Top Secret Clearance at time of application
Preferred Qualifications:
• Active or current TS/SCI
• Experience with modeling/simulation, system trade studies, and expertise with various engineering tools such as MATLAB, STK, and similar tools.
• Experience with DOORS and Cameo Systems Modeler
• Experience with ground segment development
• Experience with software development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Space industry experience - Ground system network design and support
• Experience coordinating the efforts of diverse stakeholders.
Primary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
