Job Description

Our financial services client is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to work a 9-month assignment (40 hrs/week). The client prefers someone who can work onsite at least 3 days/week out of Lone Tree, CO (2 days work from home); however, they will consider remote candidates. 

Our Market Research team focuses on strategic decision support, client loyalty and behavior, advanced analytics, market research, reporting, and data analysis. Our mission is to help the organization compete on analytics-serving clients and cultivating loyalty by understanding their needs, attitudes, and behaviors-and enabling strategic decisions in a data-driven, fact-based manner. Our services are in high demand due to our reputation for accuracy, strong business insight, outstanding productivity, and attention to detail. Our work has high visibility across the company, helping business partners shape marketing strategies and measure the effectiveness of various initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced strategic thinker with strong market research skills to support initiatives aimed at improving platform experiences and engagement. This role involves managing online communities of advisors and partnering with external research vendors and agencies to deliver actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with vendors to manage an online community of advisor clients, maximizing participation and ensuring a first-rate experience.
  • Develop an understanding of the advisor (RIA) audience to engage effectively.
  • Collaborate across teams to define research goals and objectives.
  • Manage research vendors, including relationship oversight, partnership development, and budget management.
  • Structure and execute complex research projects from end-to-end.
  • Oversee and optimize online communities to maximize value and insights.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing research (vendor or client side).
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree required.

Analytic and Research Skills:

  • Ability to develop detailed, tactical project plans and deliver on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and statistical skills; ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
  • Capability to shape team thinking on research strategy, design, and execution.

Communications & Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including senior-management-level presentation skills.
  • Collaborative approach; proactively seek opportunities for teamwork.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Project Management Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience managing online communities and evolving them for maximum impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience engaging advisory boards or similar groups in an online setting.
  • Research experience with financial advisors, particularly RIAs.
  • Experience designing and managing User Experience (UX) studies.
  • Familiarity with implementing AI tools in research.
  • Background in mission-driven or social impact organizations.
  • Financial services experience.
