National Grid is hiring a Senior Account Manager (Customer Connections), Customer Contact for Massachusetts. This is a Onsite Role - Must live within a commutable distance to Hopedale, Brockton, Northboro, Waltham or North Andover, MA
Job Purpose
In this role you are going to manage the work progression for Third Party Attachment requests, which enable our customers to provide Broadband and 5G services.
Key Accountabilities
- Build strong strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as Jurisdictions, Operations, Customer Service, Regulatory, Pricing, Risk & Insurance, Distribution Design, Engineering Standards to deliver high impact and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on progress of Third-Party initiatives including milestone achievement, KPI delivery and risks to maximize adoption.
- Advocate for the "voice of the customer" and mobilize National Grid's functional areas to balance desired outcomes of individual customers with the commercial interests of the company and impact to entire customer base.
- Identify, design and implement enhancements to existing policies, processes and systems to improve efficiency and performance related to all aspects of Third Party Attachment efforts.
- Understanding of Permitting Process required for Construction. DOT, Railroad, Environmental, etc.
- Participate and/or represent Third Party on project teams working on various corporate initiatives to improve efficiency and customer service.
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
- Ability to communicate to stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
- Work well in a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience, and 5+ years of work experience.
- Required intermediate Excel skills, Powerpoint, Word
- Desired knowledge of GIS, STORMS and Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of relevant industry practice, standards and best practices for Broadband and wireless Attachments.
- Knowledge of the electric distribution system preferred.
- Knowledge of current trends within the industry and developments in Broadband and 5G expansion.
- Knowledge of standards, procedures and safety practices related in the fields of work.
- Valid Driver's License.

Salary - $110,000 - $129,000
