Position Overview

International Motors is seeking an Senior MES Analyst Lead to help shape the future of digital manufacturing at our Huntsville Powertrain Plant. As we continue modernizing our operations and strengthening the reliability of our Manufacturing Execution Systems, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that production teams have stable, intuitive, and high performing tools that keep our machining and assembly processes running at their best.

In this role, you will be the plant's go to expert for MES architecture, integrations, and system behavior, driving improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and day to day operational flow across the shop floor.

The Senior MES Analyst Lead will collaborate closely with cross functional teams, influence process improvements, and help shape long term digital capabilities for one of International Motors' most critical powertrain facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day to day MES operational support for the plant by coordinating technical resources and schedules, implementing timely interim corrective actions to minimize production impact, and applying a strong understanding of MES behavior, system integrations, and infrastructure dependencies to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

  • Manage problem solving lifecycle by driving data based root cause analysis, coordinating cross functional teams, and ensuring permanent corrective actions are implemented, verified, and sustained.

  • Proactively build relationships with those outside of your immediate team becoming a trusted partner.

  • Facilitate the creation of requirements and user stories with business users to translate capabilities into tangible technical tasks.

  • Serve as acting Product Owner for local MES, representing plant needs with a strong understanding of MES capabilities and constraints, managing the MES backlog, and ensuring development work remains aligned with operational priorities, technical feasibility, and user requirements

  • Manage backlog prioritization with business champion focused on plant's most important KPIs related to safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders, inspiring the team while constructively challenging design, root cause findings, and remediation proposals to ensure the best outcome for plant operations.

  • Identify and execute opportunities to create additional value, improve business processes, and enhance user experience.

  • Through Agile delivery model, provide leadership, technical expertise, and local implementation experience while collaborating with the product team to drive high-quality deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, data privacy, cybersecurity regulations, and industry regulations.

  • Utilize balanced judgment in decisions about risks of both actions taken and not taken while seeking ways to iterate faster in a well-managed way for the immediate team.

  • Keeps abreast of key Manufacturing IT trends - Industrial IoT, Manufacturing Digital Plant Maturity, Cybersecurity, Data Integrity principles, technology, and data standardization, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications experience

  • At least 1 years of lead experience

OR

  • Master's degree and at least 3 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications experience

  • At least 1 years of lead experience

OR

  • At least 8 years of experience analyzing, designing, evaluating, modifying, testing and implementing enterprise-wide systems or business experience using ERP applications experience

  • At least 1 years of lead experience
