About This Role:
As a Sr. Manager, Operations Analyst , you will be a vital part of the PPM Development Asset Leadership (DALPSO) team, working closely with R&D operations to establish an operational "control tower" capability. Your role will center on utilizing Planisware as a primary tool to monitor performance, predict resource needs, and manage timelines. You will create a seamless connection across various systems and dashboards to provide leadership with timely, trusted, and insightful analytics. By assessing current tools and defining strategies to streamline and optimize analytics, you will ensure alignment with organizational goals. This position is crucial for advancing the algorithms that improve accuracy and usability of resource and timeline forecasting, thus driving strategic decision-making and enhancing operational efficiency.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor operational performance and generate predictive insights across portfolio and program levels.

  • Lead Planisware systems integration and enablement support in partnership with IT and vendors.

  • Build and maintain resource management and forecasting algorithms to enhance forecast consistency and transparency.

  • Develop and guide operational analytics products and data visualizations for effective reporting.

  • Assess and streamline the current analytics landscape to ensure alignment with decision-making needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes and ensure effective knowledge transfer.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support systems integration efforts and ensure technology and analytics alignment.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or relevant discipline (e.g., industrial engineering, operations research, data analytics) with 7+ years of experience in analytics, operations analytics, or business intelligence within biotech/pharma R&D; or
    Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or
    PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated experience with Planisware (PPM) enablement and system integration support.

  • Advanced experience with Power BI, including data modeling and dashboard design.

  • Proficiency in SQL or modern data platforms; scripting knowledge (e.g., Python) is a plus.

  • Experience with resource management concepts and operational forecasting methods.

  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience defining analytics roadmaps and rationalizing toolsets.

  • Familiarity with governance and master data practices.

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $140,000.00-$187,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
