The Role
Fidelity Institutional (FI) is looking for a senior manager to join the planning and operations team and will partner closely with all functions within Wealth Advisory Managed Solutions (WAMS) as well as other critical business partners.
This individual will be a key contributor to developing business strategy for WAMS, as well as supporting mid to long-term cross organizational strategy, roadmap development and operations for our intermediary offerings.
This role will contribute to shaping an overall operating model to drive business management activities inclusive of process improvements and documentation, CRM, Dashboard, Scorecards. There will be a need for strong collaboration with business partners within the organization and partners across FI (Distribution, Technology, Marketing, Finance, FI Reporting & Analytics, Risk and Compliance) to delivery on the objectives.
Additionally, the role will be contributing to driving customer input, alignment and execution in partnership with product and distribution leadership teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- MBA or equivalent work experience in financial services, preferably in product management, CRM, Data and Analytics, Planning and Operations related roles.
- Self-starter, independently oriented and excited by prospect of working on critical initiatives and welcome working in fast pace, client focused environment which requires comfort with ambiguity and an adaptive mindset.
- Strong research & quantitative analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize findings and develop practical, actionable recommendations.
- Project Management skills required to successfully drive projects across the company, manage critical dependencies and internal communications related to assigned product responsibilities.
- Work collaboratively across the Fidelity Enterprise, capable of communicating with and influencing peers and leaders through relationship building, well-informed insights and high-quality presentations.
- Intellectual curiosity and tenacity to develop creative approaches to problem solving.
- Interacting with Fidelity associates, gathering data from internal and external sources, identify trends, opportunities, to develop insights and recommendations on key initiatives.
- Knowledge of managed products and managed platforms is desirable.

- CRM Strategy & Enablement: Support WAMS CRM strategy and execution to enhance advisor engagement and business development efforts.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage internal and external data sources to develop actionable insights and recommendations for business growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders across Product, Distribution, Marketing and Finance to drive WAMS strategic business initiatives and operational excellence.
- Project Management: Lead and manage strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and effective communication.

The mission of the Wealth Advisory Managed Solutions (WAMS) organization is to be the go-to provider of investment advisory capabilities for intermediaries, providing differentiated outcomes at scale through access to Fidelity's robust investment insights, products, and solutions. The Strategy and Operations team leads strategy for WAMS as well as critical functions for Fidelity Institutional Wealth Adviser (FIWA), including Business Management & Oversight, Investment Services, Distribution Strategy and Planning, CRM, Reporting & Insights.
