Your responsibilities will include:
• Support the Common Munitions BIT/Reprogramming Equipment (CMBRE) Program
• Apply knowledge of military interfaces and standards for munition testing and reprogramming
• Address sustainability issues for CMBRE, (ex. DMSMS issues)
• Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings
• Frequent opportunities to interact with Program Management, external suppliers and/or government customers, therefore excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential to succeeding in this role
Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer:
• Must have a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent STEM related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of direct relevant experience with B.S degree; Minimum of 6 years of direct relevant experience with Masters degree; Minimum of 4 years of direct relevant experience with PhD.
• Familiarity with automated test systems, software loading tools, and diagnostic platforms.
• Experience in circuit design and development
• Experience with lab test equipment such as function generator, oscilloscope, multi-meter, spectrum analyzers, etc.
• Must currently hold or be able to maintain a U.S Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience with munitions test and reprogramming equipment, especially CMBRE systems.
• Experience with PCB design
• Familiarity with military communication protocols and standards
Salary Range: $118,600.00 - $178,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
