This position will be for a Third Shift Supervisor located in Charlotte, NC.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Supervise manufacturing and associated personnel on 3rd shift for Fabrication areas, Crystal Growth, and Coating, as needed.
• Drive production priorities while maintaining safe and efficient manufacturing operations
• Effectively document and communicate production issues/status to first-shift personnel
• Partner with area supervisors, managers, or other resources to address and solve critical operational and employee performance issues in a timely manner
• Fully understand and properly execute emergency procedures
• Demonstrate the required leadership behaviors to motivate and engage employees and to build trust and confidence among the management team and peers.
Basic Qualifications:
• AS Degree in a technical or business discipline and 2 plus years
• experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Demonstrated leadership behaviors to motivate, engage, and build trust
• Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical field
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Experience directly supervising a manufacturing operation and personnel
• Three years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Hazardous Materials: Methanol, Acetone, Degreasing Chemicals
Primary Level Salary Range: $84,600.00 - $127,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
