Incident Response AnalystLocation: Eagan, Minnesota (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
This position is for an Associate IT Operations Analyst. The role involves prioritizing and proactively monitoring events for global infrastructure components and critical business applications. The analyst will follow established processes to identify, escalate, and drive the resolution of critical incidents in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prioritize and proactively monitor events for global infrastructure components and critical business applications.
- Follow established processes and procedures to identify Critical incidents, escalate to appropriate support teams, and drive resolution.
- Facilitate technical conference bridges with the guidance and assistance of the Duty Manager and IT Support teams.
- Communicate on Critical incidents for a broad business and IT audience.
- Engage in process improvement, incident reduction through problem management, and root cause analyses.
- Work with various support teams to onboard more applications and sites into the client process.
- Examine and interrogate work processes with a constant eye for new solutions.
Experience: 4+ years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a monitoring and escalation role. A basic understanding of networks and servers is necessary.
Work Environment: Must be open to working in a 24/7 environment, with flexibility on shifts, weekends, and overtime. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence three times a week. The shift for this position is Wednesday through Sunday, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Preferred Qualifications- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- ITIL Service Management Foundations or Essential certification.
- Demonstrated passion for customer service.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven time-management skills.
The pay rate for this position is $35.00 per hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
